Based on the core values of Faith, Family and Friends, Wayne Messmer walks the talk in this powerful multi-media presentation using words and music to dive deeply into the essence of taking responsibility for the roles in which we have been cast in our lives. He also looks squarely into the eye of the near fatal challenge he was forced to face in his own personal life.
In telling his gripping true-life story of having been shot in the throat in a senseless act of violence in 1994, Wayne presents his journey to freedom from that fateful night… to a prison visit… to the road that ultimately led him to use his God-given and re-gifted Voice of Victory to sing at the 2016 World Series at Wrigley Field for two games of the Cubs Championship.
Wayne powerfully describes the difficult challenges that he faced during the process of having to move past anger, hatred and wanting revenge and the work it required to arrive at a point of freedom through healing and forgiveness. The presentation moves the audience out the darkness and delivers the message that the only antidote for revenge is forgiveness.
